Three-Day Internship

Event Description

Join us on campus from October 28-30 for a three-day internship with Ambleside Schools International. Ambleside internships consist of three days of training for the purpose of providing in-depth instruction in the application of the pedagogical principles of British educator, Charlotte Mason (1842-1923).

We believe that Charlotte Mason got it right when she developed the philosophy behind Ambleside’s living education, one that empowers students to author lives that are full and free - rich in relationship to God, self, others, ideas, work, and the created world. It provides the tools needed to live well in all aspects of life - personal and professional, present and future.

Led by Ambleside staff, participants spend 16+ hours in seminar-style reading and discussion of Charlotte Mason’s writings, thereby gaining a fundamental understanding of her method and philosophy of education.

Additionally, participants spend six hours observing the Ambleside classrooms, where they have the opportunity to witness Ambleside teachers applying Charlotte Mason’s pedagogy across a variety of disciplines at different grade levels.

Not only do these observations bring to life the seminars and discussions, but also they allow interns to gain from the experience and engage in discussion about the observations with Ambleside’s trained staff.

Limited seats available, reserve your spot today.
