In Ambleside School’s Christian kindergarten program

A Charlotte Mason “Living Education”

In this admirable pursuit of educating children, we fully embrace the ideas and practices of Charlotte M. Mason (1842-1923), an English author, philosopher and educator. This well-known British educator founded a teacher training college in Ambleside, England and shaped the work of education in hundreds of primary and secondary schools worldwide.

Her philosophy is now intentionally followed in the Ambleside Schools International network through Christian education at all grade levels, including kindergarten. Mason’s philosophy establishes these foundational principles of education in a Christian kindergarten setting:

Admissions Process

Tour – Schedule a school tour.
Apply – Create an account and submit an application through our online portal.
Assessment – Upon receipt of the completed application, we will conduct a student assessment with one of our teachers.
Interview – Following the student assessment, we will schedule a parent interview.
Admissions Recommendation – Upon successful completion of the application, student assessment, recommendation forms, and parent interview, you will receive notification of admission. If admitted, you will receive more information regarding the enrollment process and how you can secure your child’s seat.

Kindergarten Schedule & Curriculum

We offer two schedule options for your kindergarten student:

Three-day Program
Students meet for full days on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for our full Ambleside kindergarten curriculum.
Five-day Program
Students meet daily Monday through Friday with added enrichment programs on Tuesday and Thursday.
